Seasoned Exec Willing to Go the Extra Mile

Sandra Koehler, CAE, Compliance Director, has over twenty-five years of association management experience and was Vice-President of one of the largest association management firms in Wisconsin. She spearheads the accreditation process for Association Acumen, leads AcumenEd, the in-house education program, and heads up new talent development. She also works on Acumen marketing and communications and serves as Editor of the National Vehicle Leasing Association’s LeaseWire publication. She has also served as a marketing and public relations liaison for several other Acumen clients, Including the Automotive Fleet and Leasing Association (AFLA) and the International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU). Sandy has served as Executive Director of several national medical associations, where she was responsible for marketing, communications, and public relations as well as overall management and has received four awards for excellence and dedicated service. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and has a Certificate of Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the Society for Nonprofits. Sandy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and writing romantic suspense novels.
