American Society of Reproductive Immunology (ASRI)

Cataract-Ophthalmic Resident Education (CORE)

Provided program management and promotional services for a series of medical education programs aimed at residents in ophthalmology. Courses focused on state-of-the-art cataract surgical techniques and technology.

GO Riteway

Provided event management and coordination and communications development to a full-service transportation solutions provider focused on moving individuals and groups throughout Wisconsin, northern Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and across the country. GO Riteway has over 1,400 vehicles and 1,475 employees, servicing over 30 school districts and providing corporate travel and shuttle service.

Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA)

Provided management for a state-wide physician assistant organization with over 200 members, including membership services and sponsorship engagement. IAPA’s mission is to enhance and grow the Physician Assistant profession in Indiana.

International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU)

Provided full association management services for an international membership organization dedicated to promoting a coordinated effort within the industry to combat insurance fraud. Manage certification program, finances, board and committee coordination, membership services, annual seminar and quarterly news magazine. 

Immunology of Diabetes Society (IDS)

Provided program and event management for the 15th International Congress, held in San Francisco. The Immunology of Diabetes Society (IDS) is a scientific society dedicated to improving understanding and treatment of type 1 diabetes. The scientific congress occurs every 18 months in Europe, North America and Asia/Oceania.

Ophthalmic Anesthesia Society (OAS)

Provided financial management, board and committee coordination, convention and program management, membership services, marketing and communications, bylaw, policies and procedures maintenance and strategy development services. This 250-member organization represents ophthalmic surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists from around the world and is dedicated to ensuring that all professional personnel in the field of ophthalmic care are provided with training and continued education.

Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA)

Provided full-service management for a state-wide PA organization with over 900 members, including Board and committee coordination, meeting and program management, membership services, marketing, communications and legislative outreach and monitoring. MAPA’s mission is to promote quality, cost-effective, accessible health care and to promote the professional and personal development of Minnesota PAs.

Society of American Travel Writers (SATW)

Provided full association management services for a national trade organization made up of 1,400 members including travel writers, photographers, editors, Web journalists, film lecturers, broadcast/video/film producers and public relations representatives. Responsible for financial management, Board and committee coordination, convention and program management, membership services, bylaw and policies and procedures maintenance and minute compilation.

Society for Vascular Nursing (SVN)

Provided full association management services for individual membership organization dedicated to providing a professional community for vascular nurses, focused on advancing the care of persons living with vascular disease through excellence in clinical practice, education and research. SVN membership is made up of more than 500 members with eleven state and regional chapters. SVN members represent a wide scope of nursing expertise, with members practicing vascular nursing at the bedside in acute care settings, operating rooms, clinics, functioning as staff nurses, advanced practice nurses, educators, and researchers.

Wisconsin Occupational Therapy Association (WOTA)

Provided full association management services for a professional association comprised of over 400 members. WOTA promotes the profession and professional services of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants and the education of Occupational Therapy students in Wisconsin. WOTA brings vitality to the profession of occupational therapy in Wisconsin by being committed to demonstrating value, creating public awareness, providing advocacy, anticipating change and fostering proactive leadership.

Wisconsin School Bus Association (WSBA)

Provided executive transition consulting services to the WSBA Board of Directors.

Women in Ophthalmology (WIO)

Provided full association management services for individual membership organization with 400 members. Acumen supports and guides WIO as they enhance and improve the professional environment for women ophthalmologists. The WIO annual meeting, with ~200 attendees, offers solid scientific and practice management information to the clinicians, researchers and related professionals who are engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. Meeting services also included abstract management, posters, tours, social events and yoga.
